Your financial contribution to the VNA Foundation helps secure the resources the VNA needs to provide quality health care services to those in need within our community.
You will be helping new mothers and their babies, people of all ages who are recovering from illness, the elderly and the terminally ill. Your dollars are put to use in our local community, and allow us to support current programs, develop new health care programs, purchase supplies and medical equipment, all while remaining sensitive to our patients’ ability to pay for services.
You may choose to donate and allow VNA to use your contribution where the need to serve patients is the greatest, or you can donate to a specific VNA Fund and direct your gift to a program or service that interests you most.

For Banking Institutions
Many VNA community health programs target low-income individuals and families, enabling your contribution to be eligible for CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) credit. For example, in 2006, of the more than 9,000 served in our nurse home visitation program for new moms and babies, at least 70% * earned less than $10,000 a year.
